He received his diploma in Electronic Musical Composition and Band Orchestration at the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome, and a diploma in Composition at the Conservatory "L. Cherubini" in Florence.
He attended different composition masterclasses and semiinars, both in Italy and abroad, with K.Stockhausen, V.Globokar, J.Villa Rojo, L.Brouwer, G.Gandini. In 1989 he received a scholarship from the University of Granada (Spain) for the ""XX Curso Manuel de Falla".
He was won prizes and received recognition in several composition competitions such as:
Premio Valentino Bucchi Rome 1988 for Perceptible for violin and orchestra;
Premio Valentino Bucchi Rome 1991 for Interference free reception II for piano and orchestra;
Composing Competition H.Wieniawski Poznan (Poland) 1990 for Holograph for solo violin;
Concorso di composizione "G.Contilli" Messina (Italy) 1989 for Interference free reception for octet;
Concorso di composizione "Briccialdi" Terni (Italy) 1988 for  Sonatina per pianoforte;
Concorso "Castello di Belveglio" Asti (Italy) 1989 for Trio basso for viola, cello, double bass;
Concorso RAI Radio3 Rome 1988 for Capriccio per due clarinetti
His music has been performed in many festivals of contemporary music, among which we mention the most important:
