He studied composition with Domenico Guaccero, Mauro Bortolotti, Franco Donatoni and Sylvano Bussotti.
His compositions include vocal, instrumental, electronic and electroacoustic works, many of which are closly linked to the visual arts and to the theatre. His latest production comprises works embracing diverse techniques, from "strict" serialism to pictographs, improvisation and aleatory, from electronic processing to the assumption of material of rock and jazz origin.
His compositions are included in contemporary music festivals both in Italy and abroad, while his pictorial-graphic works are exhibited in various Italian art galleries.
