Blend is based on the generation and resonance of sound. In a musical instrument, the generation of sound is a representation of the timbric qualities over time. This allows us to percieve the instrument's sound quality and recognize it.
The work is divided into five moments in which each different instrument changes the way in which its sound is generated achieving a timbric fusion with the other instruments. The sonic mix created by these timbres is separated into five different frequency registers which creates the peculiar, sometimes chaotic qualities of the piece.
