Composer and conductor. Born in Milan in 1955, he studies piano and composition at the Civica Scuola di musica di Milano, taking a master in Paris, Friburg and Lausanne; he takes degree at University of DAMS in Bologna. Since the beginning, he choses the relation scip between music and theatre from the composition of incidental music to the execution, performances requiring a precise movement score and scenic presence of the performer. In 1973 he writes "Gundrisse", for tape, piano and voice, in wich he also destroys the instrument. He has tought at the Piccolo Teatro Drama School in Milano and at the courses of the professional formations of the UE, with projects based on the relationschip between sound, movement, music and theatre. Since 1985, he makes a research about use of the voice and listening through the martial arts and deaf and dumb people language, the armonic sing and the dramatic use of the "singed word". He has write opera for theatre, lirica and films and chamber music with a particular attention to the voice and recitation. He has worked between the others with Massimo Castri, Elio De Capitani, Tadeusz Kantor (theatre), Antonio Porta, Giancarlo Majorino (poetry), Raffaella Giordano, Giorgio Rossi, Caterina Sagna. Simone Sandroni (dance), Ale Guzzetti, Marco Bagnoli (visual arts).

In 1995 he has founded Tacitevoci Ensemble.
