Giuliano Scarola born in Bari (Italy) in 1983.
In 2013 he achieved his bachelor degree in Electronic Music at the Conservatory "Niccolò Piccinni" in Bari, under the guidance of Francesco Scagliola. He attended composition seminars with Denis Dufour, Kaija Saariaho, Luca Francesconi, Agostino Di Scipio, Giorgio Nottoli, Francesco Galante, Leonello Tarabella and a master of "Hardware Hacking" by Nicolas Collins. His compositions have been performed at various Italian and foreign festivals, among others: "Fimu Festival" (Belfort - France, 2008, 2010 and 2012), "Terra Fertile" (Sassari, 2010), "XVII CIM" (Turin, 2010), "Emufest 2011" (Rome), “LPM 2012” (Rome), “Silence” (Lecce, 2012), “Musica Futura” (L’Aquila, 2012), selected for the Call n° 6 Cemat (2013).

He ranked second in the "National Arts Award 2010" and first in the "National Arts Award 2011", award proclaimed by the Italian Ministry of Education (Ministry of Education, University and Research) - Electronic Music section. Participated as sound director at the "National Arts Award 2013" - "Live compositions" section. Since 2007 is part of the research group "Sin[x]Thésis", conducted by M° Francesco
Scagliola.
He composes music for cinema and theater and is always interested in the "electronica" drift, producing for various labels since 2005.
He studies the sound-image interaction, developing works of Video Art since 2010.
