He took part as a soloist and with the ensemble Alter Ego (which he founded together with M. Zurria) to many music festivals such as the Teatro La Scala in Milan, the Accademia of Santa Cecilia in Rome, Neue Musik in Darmstadt, Reina Sofia in Madrid, Ars Musica in Brussels, Merkin's Concert Hall in New York, Festival de l'Habana, Ilkhom Theatre Taskent, Takefu Festival Japan. As a teacher, he held master classes and seminars about contemporary music at the Bucknell University (USA) and the Conservatoire in Havana (Cuba). In 1992 and 1994 he was invited to take part to the Pianoforum of the Ferienkurse für neue Musik in Darmstadt.
He runs together with professor Ricevuto the Contemporary Music Department at the Conservatoire "Scontrino" in Trapani. He has recorded for some of the most important european radios and records also for Stradivari. In 2001 he was awarded the "Choc de la Musique" by Le Monde de la Musique for a recording on piano music by Sciarrino and in 2002 with Alter Ego ensemble the "Editor choice" by the English magazine Gramophone.
