Composers

Davide Anzaghi was born in Milan (Italy) on the 29th of November, 1936. His father Luigi Oreste, a musician, dedicated all his life to musical didactic and initiated his son Davide in the study of music from his early youth. Davide Anzaghi graduated in Composition, Conductorship, Choral Music and Chorus Direction, and Piano at the Conservatory G. Verdi in Milan. After the academic training he attended specialization courses for composers held by G. F. Ghedini and F. Donatoni. After an initial period of concertistic career, soon abandoned, he started  his didactic experience. He taught at the Istituto Musicale Donizetti in Bergamo and at the Conservatory of Brescia, and is long since professor of composition at the Conservatory of Milan. He lives in the capital of Lumbardy from birth, working as composer, teacher of composition and musical promoter.
