Massimo Biasioni was born in Trento in 1963. He graduated in violin, composition, choir music and conducting and electronic music and attended the advanced training of composition with Armando Gentilucci and Giacomo Manzoni and with Alvise Vidolin and Paolo Zavagna for electronic music.
He got mentions in many composition competitions: "Premio Valentino Bucchi" in Rome in 1985, he was finalist at the "IV Electroacoustic Miniatures International Contest" in Huelva in 2006, he won the third prize at VI International computer music competition "Pierre Schaeffer" in Pescara in 2007.
He composed chamber and orchestral music for traditional and electronic instruments, video and theatrical music. Some of his works were performed in important festivals (World music days - ISCM Yokohama, Festival "Sinthèse" Bourges, "Zeppelin" Barcelona, Digital Arts Week Zurich, NWEAMO New York and San Diego, Festival LIM - Madrid, Bilbao, Granada, Lucerne, Rome, Florence, Bari, Padua, Como, Bologna, Venice, Milan, Trento, Bolzano, etc), recorded on CD and broadcast.
He currently teaches "General Musical Culture" at Lucca Conservatory of Music.
