He studied oboe with the guidance of the maestro A. Ravenni at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole. He got a diploma in 1994 with full marks at the Istituto Musicale Pareggiato "Briccialdi" in Terni. He attended a specialisation course held by the maestros Paolo Grazia and Francesco Di Rosa, attending courses and masterclasses held by teachers such as H. Schellenberger, T. Indermuhle, D. Dini Ciacci. Since 1994 until 1997 he attended the vocational training courses of the "A. Toscanini" orchestra in Parma, of the Austrian Youth Orchestra and collaborated also with OGI - Italian Youth Orchestra. Since 1997, after passing some auditions, he began to collaborate with lyrical and symphonic corporations such as the Teatro "Carlo Felice" in Genova, the Teatro Alla Scala in Milano, the Orchestra Sinfonica "Haydn" in Bolzano, the Orchestra Sinfonica Abruzzese, the Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana (with the role of first oboe in 2000 and 2001) the "A. Toscanini" Orchestra in Parma, the Teatro Regio in Turin, l'ORT - Orchestra della Toscana, the Orchestra Sinfonica in Sanremo.
