MIXTIM (from the Latin, "mixed together") aims at being a metaphor suggesting the continuous interweaving of two contrasting representations: a reiterated transition from a static to a dynamic dimension and vice versa through modalities of "condensation-contraction" in the one direction and of "dilution-expansion" in the other.
MIXTIM unfolds as a field of forces that alternatively attract and repel each other and that eventually attain a formal equilibrium owing to their equidistance from a common reference. When reached, this "non interference" condition crystallizes in recurrent formal "islands" sequenced by the iteration which is the coordinating element that connotes them as "ritual". (I.F.)
