He studied accordion in his native town under Eliana Zajec. In 1994 he graduated at the Cherubini conservatory of Florence.
Besides, Corrado Rojac concluded successfullt his ten-year piano and cello courses as well. He has fond memories of the great italian cellist Libero Lana, to whom he owes his first musical education.
As an accordionist he entered himself for many national and international music contests; in 1985 he won the second prize at the Lisbon "xxxv Trophée mondial de l'accordéon", in 1987, not quite 19 years old, the first prize at the prestigious Perugia "Fancelli" competition.
Among the thriving concert-tours were particularly outstanding the performances at the following festival: Aspekte (Salisburgo, 1992), Biennale di Zagabria (1993), Chromas (Trieste, 1994), Musicarte (Torino, 1994), Novurgia (Milano, 1996), Aterforum (Rimini, 1997), Mundus (Reggio Emilia, 1998), Estate Musicale Sorrentina (Napoli, 1998), La Fenice (Venezia, 1998), Amici della Musica (Padova, 1998), Spazioblu (Roma 1999).
He puts great care into the increase of the contemporary accordion repertoire either composing (Kafkiana, 1992) or cooperating with joung composer (Ballio, Colombo Taccani, De Piro, Lucchi).
He made some televised appearances on RAIUNO, RAITRE, RTV Slovenia, RTV Zagabria, RTV Belgrado.
In the last decade Corrado Rojac entered upon the chamber music concert-giving activities.
In 1992 he played in duet with the italian pianist Bruno Canino at the Cividale Mittelfest.
Since 1997 he has been playing with the milanese Divertimento Ensemble under Sandro Gorli and since 1992 with the Thromas ensemble. Cooperating with the milanese septet he has played in several renowned music hall (Teatro "Carlo Felice" di Genova, al Palazzo dei Congressi di Bologna, al Teatro dei Rinnovati di Siena ( Settimane Musicali Senesi), all'Aula Magna dell'Università la Sapienza in Roma (Istituzione Universitaria dei Concerti).
In 1997 he was soloist, together with the cellist Antal Tichy, in "Seven words" by Sofia Gudajdulina.
Since 1998 he has been playing in duo with the saxophonist Massimo Mazzoni.
At the moment he teaches accordion at the "Pergolesi" Conservatory of Fermo.
