Text by Stefano Scarani

Disphase is a composition of words.
The lyrics were written in Marrakesh. Monsters of imagination in Bosch's world, the chaos of the suk, the smell of a no-time zone, drawn in a terrible vision in my book. Two years later I composed this delicate music. From terrible to kind, through a gentle female voice, to emphasize hardness and softness in the same nature. Its lyrics are considered as sounds. The meaning transcends meaning: sound is meaning, space is meaning. A sound-shadow accompanies all the words and lyrics, sounds and noises have the same importance.

Black eyelids of the Sun are the eye.
It's blind and in vain scans the bottom, dark,
presage of a daylight-Moon, that ate the Sun,
breeding in the fire of entrails,
twelve gnomes with lion heads.

Globe-shaped progenies look at
snake eggs opening up for ever.
Abyssal birds disembody on eyes, at sight
showing gray skeletons and palmate feet.

Air and water, in spectral whirlpool,
between rocks and caverns,
drags the world's soul drag
into the gulf named oblivion.
