He studied at the Conservatorio di S. Cecilia in Rome and there obtained his Diploma in Composition under Prof. Mauro Bortolotti.
Attended seminars in composition under Sylvano Bussotti, Aldo Clementi, Brian Ferneyough, Ennio Morricone, and studied Conducting under Giampiero Taverna and Franco Ferrara. His compositions have been commissioned and performed by a number of institutions and festivals of contemporary music, including: RAI Radio Uno (1993), Roma Europa Festival (Roma, 1995), Teatro Sociale di Rovigo (1996), Klangspectrum (Villach, 1998), Accademia Nazionale di S. Cecilia (Roma 1999), Teatro Massimo (Palermo 2000 e 2001), Todi Music Fest (2002). He also composes theater and film scores.
