She graduated in Composition and Electronic Music at the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia in Rome, under the guidance of G.P. Chiti and R. Bianchini. She attended courses for specialization in composition with S. Sciarrino in Città di Castello, and for specialization in computer music at the CNMAT in Berkeley, University of California; she also took part in a course for experts in musical computer science at the centre TEMPO REALE in Florence.
