She studied Composition with Mauro Cardi, Eectronic Music with Michelangelo Lupone, Organ and Organ Composition with Alessandro Licata, graduating by the Conservatory "A. Casella" in L'Aquila; since the beginning her activity is addressed to the most advanced Music Composition, gathering both the Informatics and technological experiences concerning analysis and sound processing.This approach has permitted her to achieve innovative  results in the field of orchestration and musical ideation, (Aura - 1994, Ist, la nota d'arresto - 1997, Codice - 1997), also in the theatrical field (L'ultimo nastro di Krapp - 1997).

The working field, devoted to the Contemporary Music and to the researches on the new languages, has been completed with the participation to  numerable workshops and seminars together with important composers by Centers of research and  Universities specialized in Music Informatics.

She has written articles and essays on the problems of Contemporary Music, with particular reference to that utilizing Informatic Systems from which come out an integrated vision of the expressive possibilities offered by the traditional instruments in cohesion with the most advanced technologies (La Terra Fertile: una necessità musicale - 1994, Metamorfosi dei corpi - 1998); since 1994 she has been taking care of the Conservatoires, Universities and Research Centers.

In 1989 she founded in L'Aquila, with the cooperation of other musicians and researchers, the GRAMMA Institut (Research, Production, Diffusion and Didactics of Contemporary Music Center) and has been leading its artistic activity since then: since 1998 she's taken part to the board of directors of AIMI (Italian Association of Music Informatics). Since 2001, she is professor of Electronic Music at Conservatory in Sassari.
